Worship Times

St. John's Holy EucharistThe worship of the triune God is the heart and soul of Anglican Christianity. Worship is the most important part of our life as a parish. We are a community of prayer and worship and our life is centered around the Altar. Everything else we do flows from this center. We strive to offer reverent worship that is truly God-ward focused.

Our worships structured by the historic Book of Common Prayer. Worship is not about having someone talk at you, like hearing a lecture. Prayer Book worship brings the community together to pray, to hear deeply God’s holy Word, and to celebrate the sacrament of the Holy Eucharist.

It is our hope, that all of this joins to make an offering that glorifies God and builds up the Body of Christ. If you want to know who we are, as a parish family, your best introduction is to join us in glorifying God any Sunday morning. You are always welcome.

During the pandemic our worship times have been adjusted to the scheduled times below.

Today marks the twenty year anniversary of the passing of Kenneth Stringer, a loving husband to Sarah Golding Stringer, father to Matt Stringer, and faithful and beloved parishioner of St. John’s. We thought it meet and right to share pictures of the beautifully restored Stringer Memorial Garden today. There will be more photos to come and details of all those involved in the restoration process, but for now we want to share this verse today as we remember dear Kenneth. Please join us in praying for the Stringer family.“Brothers and sisters, we do not want you to be uninformed about those who sleep in death, so that you do not grieve like the rest of mankind, who have no hope. For we believe that Jesus died and rose again, and so we believe that God will bring with Jesus those who have fallen asleep in him.”1 Thessalonians 4:13-14 ESV ... See MoreSee Less
