Spring Choral Evensong & Passion Gospel, Mar 26 … St. John’s Chancel Choirs will offer the service of Choral Evensong followed by a musical setting of the Passion Gospel on Sunday, March 26th at 5:00 pm. Reception afterwards in the Guild Parlor. All are invited. Childcare available.
CGS Formation Course Offered at St. John’s … St. Peter and Paul Parish in Arlington is sponsoring a Level I Formation Course in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd this summer. As they don’t have an atrium yet, the course will be held here at St. John’s. The course consists of two parts, each five days long Part 1 will be held Tues-Sat, May 30 – June 3, and Part 2 is set for Mon-Fri, July 31- August 4. Each week covers a year and a half of the three year curriculum for ages 3-6. Childcare will be available. This is a wonderful opportunity! Space may be limited, so priority goes to those who would be willing commit to at least one year teaching or assisting in the atrium at some point; for these the parish will pick up the cost of tuition ($160 per week for parish members, which is half the usual tuition).
