Adopt-a-door Would you be able to adopt-a-door and help us pay to refinish and restore our outside doors? We are in the process of doing just that. Philip Stanback is doing the work. He is sanding the solid oak doors down and properly restoring and refinishing each one. It costs us roughly $300.00 to fully finish one door. Can you adopt-a-door? Outreach needs for the month of June! This month our partnership with South Central Alliance of Churches (SCAC) is needing items for family hygiene kits. Please consider contributing following toiletries. In addition to the supplies SCAC needs plastic grocery bags in which to package them.
- 2 rolls of toilet paper
- 1 box of tissue
- 2 bars of soap
- 1 men’s deodorant
- 1 women’s deodorant
- 2 disposable razors (no razor blades)
- 1 can/container of shaving cream
- 1 bottle of shampoo
- 1 tube of toothpaste
- 1-2 toothbrushes
- tampons and/or sanitary pads
All items need to be regular or family size. Please do not donate sample size items. Items will be collected through June and delivered in July. You can buy the items and bring them in a plastic bag any Sunday in June or sometime during the week to the office. If you would like we can purchase the items for you. Write a check for $30.00 or any size donation and write in the Memo” SCAC. Thank you!
