Chancel Choirs

The 9:00 am and 11:15 pm St. John’s Chancel Choirs assist the Rector in leading worship by singing hymns, service music and anthems. Our hymns are taken from the 1982 Hymnal, and our anthems and special music are drawn from eras ranging from the early Middle Ages to recent decades. It is not necessary to be able to read music in order to participate in our choir.  Our Chancel Choirs rehearse together on Thursday evenings from 7:00 to 8:30 pm. We love welcoming new members to our choirs! For more information contact Alan Potts, Organist and Choir Director, or contact our parish office.

Good afternoon, my name is Benjamin Allen and I am a recent graduate of Oklahoma City University. Mark Metcalfe recommended I contact you for the possibility of a singing job. I served as a vocalist and arranger during my time at Nichols Hills United Methodist Church in Oklahoma for 3 years, occasionally leading ensembles in absence of the music director. Feel free to call my cell 8177981755 if you have any questions.
    Thank you!
    Benjamin
