Welcome To St. John’s Church

Thank you for visiting St. John’s via our website.  Our website is an outreach of our ministry to proclaim and teach the Gospel of Jesus Christ.  Our goal is to form people in the Christian Faith.  As you look over these pages you will get to know more about us and about the community of faith that Christ is raising up here. I pray you will be sufficiently challenged with our ministry that you will want to visit us.  Here is a brief History of Saint John’s Church and brief Facts about Saint John.

We recognize the vast generational and cultural landscape that surrounds our historic location in South Fort Worth. We make every effort to be the Body of Christ to people of every culture and generation. As the pastor of St. John’s it is my commitment to make the Christian faith known and loved and help anyone attain a faithful life in Christ. The Christian life authentically received and lived will lead us to the healing and the fulfillment we all long for in life.  I hope you will join us soon on Sunday at 8:00, 9:00 or 11:15 am.

May God richly bless you,

The Reverend David F. Klein, Rector

Worship

The worship of Almighty God is the principle mission of St. John’s.  We worship in the Anglican Prayer Book tradition.  Anglican worship fosters a place where forgiveness, conversion and spiritual renewal can evolve for anyone who is seeking the love and help of God.  The Book of Common Prayer enables through worship Christian the formation that helps us to grow in our Christian faith so our life may be consecrated to God’s work.

  1. Hello St. John’s,

I am a member and elder at Peace Lutheran Church in Hurst. Blessings in Christ! I’m hoping you pass this on to the person in charge of your women’s ministry or let me know who I should contact.

The Lord has put me in the professional position of Sports Director at CBS Radio Dallas which gives me the opportunity to speak and share my testimony and faith in Jesus to a wide range of people. In the past I have spoken mostly to men because of my sports background but I just had a new novel, a Christmas love story titled Angel Dreams released. The new book offers me the opportunity to reach another audience with the testimony God has given me, namely women.

The Lord has put it on my heart of late to speak on the topic of The Power of our Testimony (Rev. 12:11). I would be happy to come and speak to your group free of charge if you think I could be a blessing.

I know having someone from the outside speak to your flock is a big deal, so below is more information about me, about the book Angel Dreams, and about my work in the Kingdom.

I have done a series of video Bible studies for the Lutheran Hour Men’s Network. You can view those at this link…
